the Burr Oak Ring

Every autumn I fall more in love with the Burr Oak tree. They aren’t the showiest with fall color, and often get hit with frost before they can reach their peak color potential, but something about these burly old trees is incredibly wise to me. Their various shades of earthy brown fallen leaves scattered along the forest floor inspired this piece.

+ Hand drawn, cut, and detailed reclaimed sterling silver oak leaves overlay each side of the ring band 

+ 7/16” wide ring band with comfort fit cut in inner edges

+ Size 7.5 on mandrel / fits like size 7 because of the ring band width
