the Seijaku Cuff
Seijaku is another principle of wabi-sabi and it embodies the ideas and feelings of tranquility, an energized calm and stillness. Something about the texture and feel of the hammered finish on this cuff evokes the feeling of tranquility within me. Maybe it’s the similarity it has to the reflection of light dancing in still water, or the way it feels soothing to touch, but it is calming to me. What does it evoke in you?
TheSeijaku Cuff is finished with a polished and a light patina finish that will age and patina beautifully with time and wear.
Each one will be one of a kind because it’s made to order, in your size, by my hands. Expect your cuff to ship within 1-4 weeks of ordering.
*** To personalize with a word or name on the back add the “personalization” option to your cart with the cuff you want, and leave a note with what you want stamped on it at checkout.
To order: Choose the width of cuff band you want and leave your wrist size at check out in the notes section.
How to measure your wrist size: Using a soft tape measure (or a piece of string that you can measure on a ruler or tape measure), measure around the wrist you will wear the cuff on. Measure right against the skin. The tape measure or string should not be loose or tight, just gently against the skin. Be sure to include the small bump of your ulna on the outside of your wrist in your measurement. This is the wrist size you will leave in the notes and I will make your cuff according to this size.
